| My response: For some reason Artweek reviewers never seem to have the time or interest to actually visit my exhibitions in their original finished form. Hal Fischer in 1979 wrote a review of Attitudes although he only saw the exhibiton as a "dress rehearsal" a week prior to its opening. Mark Johnstone wrote the above review after seeing only an edited traveling version of the original exhibition as it was installed in a space less than half the original form. Perhaps he would have had a better experience had he bothered to view the exhibition in Santa Barbara. |
