Kenwood Gold , 2009

With a $75 donation to the Kenwood Education Foundation you will not only provide much needed art experiences and supplies for our local public school students, but you will also receive this beautiful fine art print Kenwood Gold created by local artist Fred R. Parker. Selected as Sonoma’s Treasure Artist of the Year in 1994, Mr. Parker’s art can be found in permanent collections throughout the world, including the Norton Simon Museum in Pasadena and the Santa Barbara Museum of Art. The artist also serves on the Kenwood Education Foundation Board.

Reproduced from an original pastel, this limited edition giclée print was created using 100% rag paper and pigmented inks — ensuring image stability and vibrant color well into the next century.

The prints will be signed and numbered by the artist. The image measures 13 1⁄2” x 24” and is designed to be framed 20” x 30” – a beautiful addition to any art collection or a wonderful gift for friends and relatives unfortunate enough to live somewhere other than Sonoma Valley.

Normally, retailing for $200, this beautiful image of Sonoma Valley is being made available by the artist for the benefit of the Kenwood School art programs. Over $50 of each donation will be used exclusively to purchase art supplies and provide funds for teachers planning special art workshops or field trips for their classes.

Donations for this project must be received between October 1st and November 30th.

During that period framed examples of the print will be on display throughout Kenwood, at the office of the Kenwood Press, the Vineyards Inn restaurant and the tasting room art gallery of Deerfield Ranch Winery. The original art can be viewed at the artist’s studio/gallery located at 8467 Sonoma Highway adjecent to the Vineyards Inn restaurant.

For each $75 donation to the Foundation, you will receive one Kenwood Gold limited edition and signed print directly from the artist. The quantity of the print edition will be limited to the amount of donations received between October 1st and November 30th. Specific edition numbers will be determined by the order received.
