Welcome to my website, folks. I live and work in my studio, in Kenwood, California, in the middle of Sonoma Valley, an hour north of San Francisco. I paint images of Northern California landscapes, especially vineyard and rural scenes, in various media including oil, pastel, acrylic, giclée prints, and computer and photographic processes including the rare cliché-verre. My work, often based on photographic sources, is both realistic and pointillist, often combining multiple layers of media. I do commissions and exhibit numerous examples of my work in my studio/gallery in Kenwood, which is open to the public and by appointment. As the resident artist at Deerfield Ranch Winery in Kenwood, a selection of my art can be viewed in their tasting room gallery and website. My work can also be viewed at the VJB winery in Kenwood and the El Pueblo Inn in Sonoma My web site is designed as a visual memoir or scrap book of my entire career. As such, many of the illustrated artworks are no longer available for purchase. If you desire information about specific works, please contact me or visit the link below. 2020 Catalogue of Available Artwork Because of the pandemic, in early 2020 I was forced to cancel all planned art shows and events that normally supplied my survival income. To off set that reality, I created and posted a quick version of the catalogue. That initial online posting did produce some success, but responses died down to a trickle and then stopped. Now, with the catalogues below, you may find something to add to your collection or perhaps purchase as a gift… In addition to the catalogue of my personal art, there is also a small catalogue of artworks created by other artists (as well as myself) during the Art Encounters program at Kenwood School. 100% of any purchases from this catalogue will go directly to support the school. Here is a link to this catalogue. |
